Two UNCG films will be featured in the Carrboro Film Festival November 20th

Grad students Adrienne Ostberg (A New Life) and Mariah Dunn (Nite Lite) will screen their 1st year practicum films this month at the Carrboro Film Festival on Sunday Nov. 20th.

The idea behind the Carrboro Film Festival is to promote local area shorts films that are twenty minutes or less. The first year, the response was incredible, with nearly 100 entires. From those, a day filled with fabulous films was created, and that tradition has continued over the years.

The Carrboro Film Festival screens the best short films this area has to offer, and in 2011 the Festival continues to grow and thrive, as we expand statewide, screening the best of ALL of North Carolina short films this year.

The Carrboro Film Festival is Sunday, November 20, 2011  from 1 – 7 pm in Century Hall at the Carrboro Century Center

Adults $7 – Kids 10 and under $3

Come and enjoy a wonderful variety of great short films by North Carolina filmmakers and vote for your favorite films to win an award!

There is a free after-party at Open Eye Cafe!
