Alum Gregg Easterbrook teaching an MFA lighting course at UNCG

“Back in the day,” Gregg Easterbrook was awarded the prestigious Eastman Cinematography Scholarship while earning a magna cum laude MFA from the University of N.C. Greensboro.  Following grad school, his professional work earned him a selection to SHOOT Magazine’s New Directors Showcase, among other honors.

Subsequently, his work has been featured in numerous film festivals and award shows (SXSW, Edinburgh Film Festival, Tellys, Spirits, Addys, etc.).  Most recently he’s shot features released by Lionsgate, IFC Films, New Films Int’l, ArcLight, and Crosstown.  Currently, he is prepping an upcoming feature through Cinetic to shoot in LA, and another to lens in New Orleans.

Gregg is a frequent instructor and guest lecturer at film schools around the southeast, including an MFA lighting course at UNCG this semester.
