Dr. Geoffrey Baym Wins “Top Faculty Paper” Award

Media Studies professor Dr. Baym has won the “Top Faculty Paper” award for the Political Communication Division of the International Communication Association. The paper, “Circulating Struggle: The On-Line Flow of Environmental Advocacy Clips from The Daily Show and The Colbert Report,” tracks the way on-line activist networks share clips from those two shows. It will be published this fall in the journal, Information, Communication & Society.
